Manila. Die San Miguel Corp. (SMC) baut in Manila den Skyway zur Entlastung des Verkehrs Richtung Süden. Der Bau soll jetzt beschleunigt werden, so dass die Strasse noch im dritten Quartal fertiggestellt ist. Leider wird es durch die Bauarbeiten im Bereich Alabang zu Sperrungen und insoweit zu Verkehrsbehinderungen und Staus kommen.

Vehicles coming from the elevated Skyway should exit at the steel ramp in Alabang.

Teilweise ist der Skyway schon offen, vom NAIA nach Balintawag nur 30 Minuten Fahrzeit, vorher bis zu 3 Stunden.
