Die britische Band Coldplay kommt im nächsten Jahr auf die Philippinen. Am 19. Januar 24 werden sie in der Philippine Arena auftreten. Wer Interesse hat, am 19.06. beginnt der Vorverkauf.

Präsident Marcos war zusammen mit seiner Frau auf dem Konzert in Bulacan.

Er wurde wohl etwas überrascht, als sich Coldplay-Sänger Chris Martin über den extremen Verkehr in Manila beschwerte.
Zitat:“We’d like to say thank you so much for all of you for coming through the traffic, holy shit!” the Coldplay frontman said.
“I think, you know, we’ve seen some traffic. But I think you have the number one in the world. You’ve come through that bullshit to be here,” he added.
Dass dann auch noch das Publikum Zustimmung signalisierte, war wohl auch dem Präsidenten peinlich.
